Crazy Summer Vacation #1-
Step one drive to KS (Yes I know it wasn't really on the way! We couldn't help ourselves!)
Step two drive to Denver and visit my UNCLE! Sorry no pictures with him. but on the way we stopped at the Hays science Center and they have awesome moving dinosaurs. Demitri whispered behind my legs, "Mom they are real!" I made him take a picture with the T-Rex and he hated turning his back on it!
Step three: Drive to Idaho!
Tried to take a picture of the snowy roofs in Denver, but the flash somehow caught these cute faces amazed by the blizzard in MAY!!
It was awful. The roads were closing after I got on them and there is no place to stop in WY for kids to go potty because you pull off the road and you are stuck in the snow forever! And when we finally do find a gas station we look like homeless people, because I staggered out of the car in shorts and flip flops and to make things worse we forgot the kids shoes in Denver, so I had to carry all three in one or two at a time.
I had no idea I could drive in Denver! -or in a blizzard on 80!! -or a million miles!!
This gas station left a 4 inch gap in the bathroom stall doors! What were they thinking... who knows who will invade your private getaway!
